We joined forces with the Plumberow School PTA to create a colouring competition for youngsters from Plumberow School in Hockley. Jess and Callum visited the School to hand out prizes to the excited youngsters.

We are so busy at Christmas time preparing for the festive season that it is easy to forget how many neighbours within our community are not finding it particularly easy financially and regularly use food banks and local options like the The Little Pantry at Thundersley Village. We had an idea to encourage donations.

Our community stand has been in use on each of the four Saturdays during December supporting some of the groups who otherwise wouldn't be able to share their services with the wider community. This week it was the turn of Little Heroes ASD Support Group.

Our team at Hockley raised the spirits of Villagers on Saturday by making some noise and hosting a fun Christmas event outside our Spa Road branch. We had some fabulous feedback from visitors.

Come and see us at our Spa Road, Hockley office today (Saturday 18th December) for some Christmas fun for the whole family.

At the end of the Armistice Day & Remembrance Sunday services we unite to say 'We will remember them', this Christmas we wanted to do just that so have joined forces with Stibbards Funeral Directors to create a Hockley Remembers Christmas Tree using the knitted poppies from our November display. Come and take a look if you passing.

Our 'community stand' has been a popular addition to the Hockley Village shopping area and this weekend we welcomed the folk from Hockley Ferret Rescue to the office.

We have been delivering community projects throughout the year and December is no different as we organise a Christmas Colouring competition for youngsters from Plumberow Primary Academy in Hockley.

Our firm is supporting Save The Children today by making a donation and wearing our Christmas Jumpers to work. Please join us in making a difference this Christmas.

We decided to give the opportunity to local voluntary and charity groups to raise funds and awareness from our 'community stall' located on the shopfront of our Hockley branch during December. We entertained United in Kind last week and this Saturday it was the turn of the Triple H Community Choir.

The knitted poppies community project we deliver in Hockley Village was designed to inspire our friends and neighbours to donate to the poppy appeal so we have placed a tin outside the office during the lead up to Armistice Day & Remembrance Sunday, this is how we did......
