Celebrating Thundersley Super Heroes

One of our Directors, Colin MacLean also holds the position of Chairman of Thundersley Town Team , a voluntary group which promotes, organises community events and fundraises for Thundersley Village. This weekend Colin attended the Annual Thundersley Superheroes awards.

We are fortunate to have some fabulous individuals volunteering and making a positive difference within our community. This last weekend one of our Directors, Colin MacLean presented trophies at Thundersley Congregational Church to two such people.

The annual Thundersley Superheroes awards ceremony organised jointly by Thundersley Town Team and the Church is attended by the congregation and nominees all celebrating the kindness of others. Two of the awardees recognised on Sunday were Faye Thomson who received the Resident of the Year award and youngster, Callum Axford who won the Young Persons Award for his tireless fundraising and campaigning on behalf of charities.

Congratulations to the winners.

It’s a time to pause, reflect, and give back and thanks to the tireless RBL volunteers.

Nestled at the top of Rayleigh High Street, Holy Trinity Church stands as a timeless symbol of faith, history, and community spirit.
