Feet up Maria, sleepless nights ahead!

Our popular Lettings consultant Maria enjoyed a baby shower as she leaves us for a few months and starts her maternity leave to prepare for the birth of her baby boy! We created a special playlist of music to help the event go with a swing!

We started the party with, "It Takes a Man" by Chris Young, well it did after all, our lettings team have been inundated with daily demands from Maria for weeks so next on the turntable was "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" from Abba, next up was "Baby Love" by The Supremes, "I'm Your Baby Tonight" from Whitney Houston for all those 3am baby feeding moments, "Born to Be My Baby" by Bon Jovi, "Baby I Love You" by the Ramones and to finish "Baby, Don’t Forget Our Number" by Milli Vanilli because we are looking forward to welcoming you and the little one back to the office soon!

Selling your home can feel like a daunting process, but with some careful preparation, you can give yourself the best possible chance of attracting the right buyer and achieving a smooth, successful sale. From creating the right first impression to dealing with those little jobs you’ve been meaning to do for years, here’s how to get your home market-ready.

Recent legislation changes like Awaab’s Law have made it clear that landlords must take responsibility for ensuring rental properties are safe, well-maintained, and free from hazards such as damp and mould. Failing to meet these legal requirements can now lead to serious consequences. If you don't currently use a property manager, think again.

If your letting agent isn’t delivering, you don’t have to stay stuck. Switching agents is easier than many landlords realise and could protect your investment long-term. Here’s how the process works, and why September is the perfect time to act.

Moving home isn’t just about the sale price. From legal fees to removals, there are plenty of extra costs to budget for. This guide covers the most commonly overlooked expenses so you can plan with confidence and avoid last-minute surprises. All costs in this guide are just an average and will vary depending on the complexity of the transaction and even where you live in the country so remember to ask for detailed costings.
