This Halloween, something spook-tacular is happening in Hockley. For the first time ever we present the Hockley Halloween Trail 2025! Whether you're a little monster or just young at heart, this is your invitation to enjoy a safe, exciting Halloween adventure right in the heart of our village.

🎃 Join Hockley’s First-Ever Halloween Trail on Friday 31st October! 👻 Get ready for some frightfully good fun in Hockley this Halloween! The Hockley Halloween Trail is taking place on Friday 31st October 2025, from 4:00pm to 6:30pm, and best of all, it’s completely free!

The spooky trail starts at Christine’s Florist on Southend Road, where families can collect their trail maps before heading off to explore the haunted happenings around the village. From there, follow the trail through the heart of Hockley, visiting participating shops and offices for sweets, free gifts, and surprise spooky treats along the way.

The business community of local independent firms has come together with the Hockley Chamber of Trade and Rochford District Council to create a fun, family-friendly Halloween celebration showing what can be achieved when community spirit comes alive!

Expect scary music, smoke effects, spooky shop decorations, and maybe even a few creepy characters lurking about! Many of Hockley’s fantastic independent traders are joining in, transforming their businesses into eerie, entertaining stops on the trail.

Whether you're trick-or-treating with little ones or just looking for a fun way to support your local high street, this event is perfect for all ages. Don your best costumes, bring a bag for your goodies, and prepare for a hauntingly good evening.
