Small Business Saturday on 6th December is fast approaching, and this time, it comes with an exciting opportunity for home-based and youth-led businesses to shine.

This year, Small Business Saturday takes on an extra-special meaning for our community. In a time when small, independent, and home-based businesses are facing more challenges than ever, Hockley’s traders are coming together to lift each other up and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it.

Amos Estates, alongside several wonderful local businesses, is opening its doors on 6th December to offer free space within our premises to home-based entrepreneurs and young business owners. Whether you craft handmade gifts, design digital products, run a small beauty brand, or are just getting your first venture off the ground, this is a chance to showcase your work right in the heart of the shopping area.

Small Business Saturday is always about celebrating the incredible creativity and resilience of local traders, but this year the message feels even more important. By giving home-run and youth-led businesses a visible platform on one of the busiest shopping days of the season, we hope to create an event that not only supports our neighbours but also brings fresh energy and inspiration to the high street.

Visitors can expect a vibrant, festive atmosphere with a wide mix of stalls, unique gift ideas, and the opportunity to meet the talented individuals behind these businesses. It’s a perfect chance to tick off some Christmas shopping while supporting the people who make our community special.
