Hockley Community Mosaic Art

Hockley Community Mosaic Art

We are supporting Karen Hawkes from Hockley Parish Council by distributing entry sheets for Villagers to create designs which will form part of the new community mosaic at Southend Road in Hockley.

When the Government granted Rochford Council community funds under the national 'levelling up' scheme they joined forces with Hockley Parish Council to fund a new and lasting mosaic art scheme at Southend Road. The local authority are calling on residents young and old alike to leave their mark on the village cultural landscape by drawing an element of Hockley and it's community that you would like to see included within the final design.

Entry is completely free and you can collect an entry form from our Hockley office at 1a Spa Road in Hockley.
