Our 'Hockley Remembers' community project launched today

An early start for our Hockley team as they climbed out of bed before dawn and got on with displaying 1000's of knitted and crochet poppies to the railings in Hockley Village. #LestWeForget

Our 'Hockley Remembers' community project which has been wonderfully supported by our Village community was launched this morning and the thousands of knitted and crochet poppies created by our friends and neighbours will be displayed over the next two weeks as we approach Remembrance Sunday.

We hope that you will visit and be inspired to make a donation to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, we have a tin outside our office.

If you are thinking about moving in the next 6 to 12 months, a market appraisal is often the best first step. It gives you a clearer view of value, timing and buyer demand, helping you plan with more confidence in a competitive 2026 market.

To support Mental Health Awareness Week, Colin MacLean from Amos Estates has transformed a bench at Thundersley Common into a quiet place for reflection and encouragement. Featuring the message “Sit Here, Breathe, Reset,” the initiative highlights the importance of wellbeing, kindness and taking time to pause in nature.
