We have been delivering community projects throughout the year and December is no different as we organise a Christmas Colouring competition for youngsters from Plumberow Primary Academy in Hockley.

We have been closely working with Plumberow Primary Academy PTA organising a Christmas Colouring Competition to keep youngsters occupied as the excitement of Christmas approaches.

Today we had the difficult job of judging the entries so we asked Cllr Julie Gooding who is the Chairman of Rochford District Council to pop into the office and choose the lucky winners for us.

We have blanked out the entries in the photo so it will be a big surprise for the kids when we visit the School next Friday to present the prizes.

Councillor Julie Gooding said “The colouring competition by Plumberow students is of a very high standard. I was very impressed with the wonderful colours and different techniques used by all the students especially the standard of the youngest preschool children of Plumberow school. They have demonstrated a very promising future in art at such a young age. My congratulations go to each and every child who put a lot of effort into this competition. Well done.”
