United in Kindness

Our Hockley office is located right in the heart of the Village, just a couple of doors away from the busy Costa Coffee so as we approach Christmas and the queues for 'after-eight' hot chocolate (have you tried it yet?) get longer we thought it would be a good idea to invite local charities and voluntary groups to set up stalls on our forecourt.

We were delighted to welcome Corrina and Lyn representing United in Kind to our Hockley branch on Saturday to host an information stall outside highlighting the community projects being undertaken by the group like 'Hug in a Shrug'.

Over the next few weeks on Saturdays you can find Friends of the Triple H Choir, Hockley Ferret Rescue & Little Heroes ASD Support outside our office.

Buying a home is one of life’s biggest decisions. Whether it’s your first purchase or your fifth, the process can feel daunting, with plenty of pitfalls to avoid. From mortgages and surveys to legal paperwork and negotiations, there’s a lot to take on board. By arming yourself with the right information and working with a knowledgeable local estate agent, you’ll be better placed to make smart decisions and find the home that truly fits your needs.

Our Hadleigh War Memorial can easily be overlooked by those passing through. Yet this understated monument holds a significant place in our Towns history and heritage. While many know it as a symbol of remembrance, the structure itself, its design, materials, and location are explored in our latest community blog.

Thinking about a move? Imagine stepping out your front door, dog lead in hand, breathing in the fresh woodland air, and wandering through ancient trees only to emerge at a cosy pub just minutes later. Welcome to life near West Wood in Hadleigh, where peaceful woodland walks meet the irresistible charm of the dog friendly Woodman’s Arms.

Autumn may not be the first season that comes to mind when people think about moving, but it can be a surprisingly strong time to sell. Buyers who are still active at this stage of the year tend to be serious about completing before Christmas or the new year. With the right preparation, your home can stand out and attract motivated buyers even as the nights draw in.
