Welcome Jo!

Welcome Jo!

Our Hockley office received a boost this week as experienced, local estate agent Jo Barham joined our team and got straight down to work listing new properties for sale and carrying our property valuations across the area.

We have been trading in Hockley since 2015 building a reputation for kind, caring service to our local community combined with a great sales record right across the Rochford District. The hard work carried out by our existing team means that we are now expanding with two new colleagues joining us at Hockley.

The first of those newbies is Jo Barham who is already known to many residents from her previous work with one of our competitors, she will make a fabulous addition to our team. Welcome Jo!

Selling for the first time can feel overwhelming. Everyone has advice, most of it conflicting. Here are the key questions to ask every estate agent, plus the step-by-step process you’ll go through to launch your home the right way.

As the festive season approaches and Hockley begins to sparkle with Christmas lights, there’s one tradition that quietly stands apart, bringing comfort, reflection and togetherness to our community our Hockley Remembrance Tree.

Selling your home is a bit like throwing a party, you tidy every corner, light the candle you usually just display, and hope people turn up and love the place as much as you do. Ask us about Open Homes, and you might open the door to a crowd of curious buyers.

This year’s Remembrance displays have been extra special for all of us at Amos Estates. It marks ten years since we first began our poppy project, and what started as a small local tribute has grown into a proud community tradition. With displays across Hockley, Thundersley Village, Thundersley Common, and Hadleigh War Memorial.
