Hello Everyone, Here is my housing market report covering the SS5 post codes over the month of February 2024. I hope you find the information useful.

After the better than expected January housing market and our positive early year expectation the February market has been a little underwhelming! 

Less properties listed for sale, less properties sold and more price reductions

Why? The half term holiday, the lenders decision to increase some mortgage products, the cold weather affecting weekend viewing numbers, it could be any number of reasons.

That said, plenty of new applicants, sale prices still remain high in comparison to asking prices but buyers are looking for good value buys, they are certainly not getting carried away yet.

All eyes now turn to March 6th and the Budget, housing market initiatives are being discussed, watch this space!
