Our award-winning Hockley team have again proved themselves, community heroes, by decorating the entire Hockley Village shopping area with hundreds of Union flags ready to celebrate the Kings' Coronation on May 6th. We didn't want the Village to look bare in the lead-up to Coronation day so delivered our latest community project.
We just love, love, love completion day at our offices, the moment when the stresses and strains of the moving process disappear and you collect the keys to your new home. We make sure that people enter a relationship with our agency as clients and quickly become friends of our business right through the process and beyond.
The New Year’s enthusiasm for moving home reaches boiling point as the daffodils burst open making Spring traditionally the most popular time in the UK for buying and selling homes. With the Easter holiday on the horizon our sales teams are preparing for the rush of buyers registering to buy a property just like yours!
When marketing a property for sale, the key is ensuring it reaches a broader audience to find the perfect buyer. The ideal solution is for the exposure of your property marketing to be comprehensive and wide enough to ensure that the maximum number of potential buyers can be found, resulting in a higher level of demand and, therefore, a higher value. This will lead to more viewings, offers, and higher sale prices - what every seller seeks.
Most of us do not think about our credit scores too often. We happily meander through life without giving it a second thought until we make a large purchase. Something that means we need to apply for finance of some kind, and it slowly dawns on us that we really should know our credit score. Whether it's for a credit card, car finance, or a mortgage, it all rests on that little credit score that you have, until this point, completely ignored.
Once you have a kitchen, dining room, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms, what else do large properties use their rooms for?? There comes a point when you run out of names for them all! Luxury properties will often have 'extra' rooms, over and above those that you would expect, and often it is these additional rooms that make us feel that a property is that little bit 'extra', setting it apart from the norm.
When marketing a property for rent, the biggest concerns for most landlords are usually the amount of rent they can earn from the property and the speed they can get a tenant moved in. If the property appeals to the target tenant, it will likely rent quickly and for a good price. If the property is not attracting the attention in the market you'd hoped, perhaps there's something that you could change to entice a tenant?
Many of the clients we assist with valuation advice for probate purposes decide to retain ownership and rent the inherited property to tenants instead, creating regular income and longer term capital growth for the beneficiaries
We have been collecting used stamps for Bone Cancer Research Trust at our offices over the last few weeks. Our friend Terri Bush collects thousands of stamps to help fundraise for the charity. All of the stamps received are passed to Terri and her fundraising colleagues. Please keep dropping them into the offices, you will be made most welcome.
Our business has supported the Samaritans Purse 'Operation Christmas Child' charity for many years and have always been blessed by a terrific amount of donations to be distributed to those in need by our local community.
We wanted to let you know how the local housing market is looking as we enter the Spring. These industry experts confirm our thoughts, some of the urgency has subsided but good properties at the right price are still selling relatively quickly, especially those clients who use technology advanced estate agents like Amos Estates, obviously!
During the colder months, we are battening down the hatches against the wintery chill, closing all our doors and windows tight and trying to keep warm air in. The cost of living crisis and rising energy bills have led many of us to take the matter into our own hands, trying to improve the efficiency of our homes by adding insulation into the loft spaces or wall cavities.
