Outside our Hockley branch, you will find our traditional Christmas Tree adorned with wooden baubles featuring the names of those mentioned on the Hockley War Memorial who are joined with the names of families with a connection to Hockley who are sadly missed but fondly remembered at Christmas time

One of our Directors, Colin MacLean established a community project three years ago which sees hundreds of wooden plaques added to the Castle Point Borough Council Christmas Tree each December allowing families the opportunity to spend a few moments remembering friends and families who have sadly passed away.

The Christmas Lights event in Hockley organised by Hockley Parish Council proved the perfect opportunity for our Hockley staff to do some good and fundraise for our friends at Hockley & Hawkwell Day Centre. Here is how we got on.

On a pretty drab Saturday morning, our team at Hockley decided to add a little festive cheer to Spa Road by setting up our community stall, finding a face painter at short notice and handing out hundreds of chocolate coins to youngsters passing by the office.
